Air Conditioner Repair in Other 28025
“We had Jeremy out to diagnose an HVAC issue on 4/4. He put a new capacitor on. This helped the air blow cold for a brief time. Our basement then started to flood the following day (4/5) due to a clogged drain line which was exacerbated by insulation inside the AC coil area that had gotten sucked onto the backside of the coils. Everything was frozen up & leaking. Jeremy took apart the system to allow it to dry and told us to call the main office on Monday for a "one time maintenance" on the system. He said he'd come back out once everything had dried out to put it back together, glue down the insulation, and get everything up and running again. He left, we felt good about the interaction and were sure he'd come back the following week to help. He left the system wide open and non-functional which was fine because he said he'd come back to resolve it. We followed his instruction and called Stout's main office and asked for him to come back and finish the job. They insisted that they couldn't come for weeks and that Jeremy's story was different than ours. Incredibly strange! We'll need to find a new HVAC company to step in and finish up the mess that's in our basement. All of this is after spending thousands with the company on a brand new Trane furnace system just months earlier. All while our home is on the market and showings are happening. What in the world?!”
